CONTEST! And babble!

Well, this is what I did this weekend:

I sprained the crap out of the tendon/ligaments on the front of my ankle. It's weird; I did it stepping out of the trampoline. Felt a sharp pain, then I forgot about it, bounced with the grandkids for almost an hour, walked inside, changed clothes and all that, then sat down for a half hour or so. Went to stand up and almost fell over. So I got The Boot. Bleh.

Charlie had a hissy fit over Amber asking for her phone back, and she clocked Amber in the mouth with the phone last night. I won't show those pics, because...lots of blood. Busted Amber's lips and gums. We're living in the house of horrors ;-)

So, tell me how y'all's weekend went for a chance to win a $5 ARe gift voucher. I don't know how many winners there'll be yet. Have to check and see what's in my account. Comment below with something about your weekend or whatever you want to share :D

Weekend was quiet, home schooled the kids on Saturday. Sunday we all relaxed and watched Harry Potter movies =). Sorry deleted the other post, had a spelling error and it bugged me.

Poor you and amber, I hope y'all are doing OK. I had to take my fitness test yesterday (I'm in the military) after being on a waiver one year and a half from breaking 3 bones in my foot and thank God I passed! It was tough getting back to running to build up my stamina but it was awesome knowing I have recovered from my injury :-) Hang in there Bailey, wearing the boot is no fun but necessary for your recovery...take it from me - I wore it for 2 months!

Dayum...house of horrors is right. Not much happening other than came back from vacay. Went from temps being high 80s to 50s. Gotta love Montreal weather. Wishing I was back in Florida.

Ouch! Hate how those boots mess with the rest of you body while you are wearing them. I've been catching up on a game I hadn't played in awhile that you play online and of course reading when not working. Hope you all heal quickly.

Been planning for building work extnesions for a year. Due to start next week. Found out this weekend it's not happening, and now we have to start all over again looking for a builder.
Hope your ankle does not hurt too much. At least a boot is better tha trying to deal with crutches

My weekend was quiet compared to yours. I just have some sore muscles form moving some furniture. My daughter and her boyfriend have been refinishing the rooms upstairs for my large bedroom and it was finally finished, so Saturday was moving day. That and I have been sewing my Halloween costume. It's Queen of Hearts meets Day of the Dead. Leaving for a long over due visit with friends and fellow writers in Mass. Dalton Diaz does a great haunted house and this year I am going down early and spending several days and then on to another friend's house for some more R&R. Will post pics of costumes on FB. I hope your ankle heals soon and hugs for Amber's face.
