CONTEST!

Hiya! Happy Weekend to you all! Would you like a chance to win one of 4 five-dollar ARe eBucks? If so, y'all know the drill. Comment below and let me know what's been going on in your life! Winners announced Monday, October 10th.

Those of you in the path of Hurricane Matthew, please be careful ***huggz***

Today, Sierra and I spent an hour cleaning our bathroom. I cannot tell you how much fun that was. Pretty sure you can feel the sarcasm drifting off that statement. I'll be watching the grandkids tonight since Mike and his band are performing at a bar in San Antonio. It's a one-time deal, he said. They used to play years ago, and decided to get together to do this one show.

Other than that, it's been raining most of the day, so that makes me sleepy.

I hope everyone is doing well. Y'all take care <3

Hiya Bailey. Well guess who came to Florida on vacation and Matthew came to visit. Unhuh me and hubby. We had made reservations to come to key west for Thursday so we got out of the mess. Luckily Hollywood was not hit too badly. We are leaving tomorrow and heading back. Unfortunately we fly back to Montreal on the 15th. Not looking forward to that. Have gotten used to the high heat and humidity.

Well, Being near Atlanta I will be missing the whole hurricane. YAY! Other than that, I am now 3 months post op for 3 surgeries that got done on my right hip. Walking is still done with crutches and it is now one inch shorter than my left leg lol. Once I am fully healed and walking with no problems, I go back under the knife to get the same surgeries on my left hip. Fun Times!

I babysat a 3yo today. Had totally forgotten how much energy they have & how you have to constantly watch them. Oh yeah, and I got called in to work on my day off, yay! Y'all getting a lot of rain down there?

I'm up north and hurricane free and no rain. Could use some rain this year as we are in a drought. I hope everyone in the path of Matthew is safe and hopefully dry.

Hi Bailey,
I have recently had surgery on my ankle which I am now in the final healing stages but will need to have my other done sometime early next year. I have also been busy visiting my sister and playing with my nephew who is now one and just got his first big boy bed.

The only thing I've been doing is watching the weather channel about hurricane matthew. So much devastation. We're getting rain now from it but no where near the destructive force it was hitting florida and haiti. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected.

Thank you for the chance Bailey. **huggz** <3

Getting house ready for building work. Going to be chaos here for 3 or 4 months.
Hope everyone is safe from Matthew.

The weather has been mostly nice here. A little rainy but I'm loving the cooler temps. My brother's name is Matthew and of course mine is Nichole so my aunt sent something to my mom about the Hurricanes and how they have our names.

doing some clean up after the hurricane, luckily we had little damage but now I have to put everything back where it was and back together. Pain in the butt however it could have been worse and we were fortunate only loosing a few shingles , lots of yard litter and no power for 4 days. God I love air conditioning, having city water was a blessing but a cold shower is a unique experience when it is not needed to keep the libido in control ha ha. Keeping everyone in my thoughts and hoping you fared as well as I did.

I'm excited. Next weekend I'm going home to NC, to visit family and take my daughter to the state fair. Fair food, yummm.

Demetra,

I am glad y'all are safe **huggz** At least y'all got a vacation. I hope it was fun!

Missy Clifton,

***huggz*** You're a strong person. I hope you heal up quickly and feel amazing after you have the surgeries done. We are all here if you need or want to chat. I like to think of the blogees as one big family. Or small family. Probably that since there aren't a lot of commentors. Anyway. Please take care and let me know how you're doing if you get the chance.

Misty*G,

Those toddlers wear ya out, don't they? I swear I don't know how I raised the kids I raised! We had some rain. How about y'all?

Bailey;-) said...

Hi Donna!

I hope it remains hurricane-free there. Those are scary. We've had lots of rain IMO but are still in a drought. But, next time it rains, I'll run outside and try to shoo it you're way ;-P

Hi Onwaytoward9,

I'm glad you're healing up and hope the next surgery fixes what needs fixing and that you recover quickly. Wow, one and already in his own big boy bed? That's impressive. Elijah is 5 and Charlie is 2 and they still don't want to stay in their own beds!

Bailey;-) said...

Hey Cinders!

Okay that doesn't sound like any fun at all. What did the tests show? I hope you're feeling better soon .***huggz***

Bailey;-) said...

Hi Linda,

That boring stuff never ends, though. Sounds like you had a nice meet-up! That is fantastic :D How long have you been scrap-booking?

Bailey;-) said...

Hey there, Shorty Chelle,

I hope y'all are all safe and dry. ***huggz*** <3 Hurricanes are terrifying. I also hope there's no damage to anything. The devastation to Haiti especially is heart-wrenching, though any loss of life anywhere is tragic and heart-breaking. Please stay safe. <3

Hi Avalie!

What're y'all having done to the casa? Chaos... oh man. Bet you'll love it once it's done, though :D

Bailey;-) said...

Hi Miranda P,

That sounds amazing! I'd love to see photos. Foliage is my favorite thing to snap pics of, right after my kids and grandkids, of course. And PNut. We don't have fall colors here yet, so I really do mean that. But, no pressure!

Bailey;-) said...

Hi Tekikat,

Must have been something in the air Friday. I scrubbed every bit of my bathroom that I could get to. Sooooooooooo much fun! Rearranging rooms can be fun though. How's your son liking Japan??

Bailey;-) said...

Hi Nichole,

Lol, well that's a funny coincidence! I'm glad you're enjoying nice weather. It's still hot here during the day, but it did cool off to the low seventies tonight so Sierra and I walked for a while. :-D

Bailey;-) said...

Hi Nikirenee,

I am so glad y'all are unharmed. A few shingles and everything else is tolerable when you've got yourself and your family and loved ones safe. Even so, being without power/AC is a certain kind of hell IMO. And I totally agree on you with the cold showers! *shhudder*

Hi Katherine Young!

That sounds like a lot of fun! Fair food, oh man. I'd eat all the fried sweet things, lol! I hope y'all have a blast!
