A Few Pics

Just popping in real quick to share some pics. Last night was the opening par-tay, and the Gentleman's Juke Joint, put on by the men who write m/m, and it was something else. There might have been some lap dancing going on. There were definitely strippers, and dancing, and all that fun stuff. I might even have video of some of that, if I can figure out how to get it off my phone. But for now, just some pics--

Coffee Swag. I love coffee...

Outside the Hard Rock.
Chocolate swag....chocolate penis swag. Y'all are all going to come to next year's GRL, right? Right??

Cherri and Alex

Cherri and Carol Lynne

Me and Cherri
Me in the beautiful mask Brandi brought me. Super Teen is going to want to steal it...

Me and Jaymi

Cherri, me and Jaymi. I'm not sitting pretty because there was this table in the way...

The lovely, sweet, and talented Cherie Noel with me hanging on her:)

No need to explain this one...

Or this one. This particular stripper would walk up and grab boobs, then dance off. I have NEVER seen Cherri move so fast as when he groped an author who was on her other side. It wasn't me. I'd have groped back.

Well...

It's blurry, but he had some nice abs...

And a cute butt; unfortunately I snapped this too soon. Another second and y'all would have no undies in the way...

Cherri and Ethan Day

More dancing...

and stripping and groping...he had chest stubble. Don't ask how I know that. And thigh stubble. Cherri told me so. ^.^

More dancing, woot woot!

Oddly enough, any photographic evidence of lapdances seem to have vanished. Imagine. That.

On a totally different note, GRL will be in Atlanta next year, and I sure hope y'all go. I've met so many wonderful people, authors, readers, publishers, everyone. I am probably going to keep popping in and adding onto this list, because there've been so many amazing peeps. TC Blue, Damon Suede, Ethan Day, Carol Lynne... Mike Murphy, who let me babble away endlessly, Sue Brown, whose books I love, Diane A, thank you for the amazing hug and kindness. Lexi Ander, thank you, you are awesome. Cherie Noel has been such a comfort and a kind guide. Brandi, Rhonda, Jaymi, I am so glad we finally got to meet in person. I'm going to try to get them to sing Karaoke later tonight...They keep telling me no, but if we get free drink tickets, maybe someone will give in:)

And there are many more people, it's hard to keep track. Everyone's been so nice, and funny. I'm going to take a nap now. There's an event going on, but I'm just worn out and still recovering from the crud I've had. I hope y'all are having a fantabulous week. :)

And, what the hell is this? I've got to admit, I didn't pick the can of it up. Thought y'all might find it amusing:)

Glad to hear you are having such a fun and "relaxing" time. Love the pictures. I am such the lap dancing pictures will turn up probably in your private stash for you to moon over.
Spotted Dick - Steamed pudding with dried fruit you have with custard, cream or how I used to eat it spread with butter and sprinkled with sugar. Probably only called this by Brits and Ex-Brits. When I was young my mum would make it in a floured cloth in a saucepan and when she put it on her largest plate it would hang over the edges. Usually with about 10 minutes the plate was empty and our tummies over full but it was yummy. This tinned stuff I don't like as it is more like a cake than a stream pudding. I will find a recipe and email to you.
Now off you go and have some more fun and think of us all in our usual ruts.
Off and enjoy yourself.

Well, y'all, I am really worn out so I am combining an answer like a bad, worn out person might do ^.> I really hope to make GRL next year, and it would be awesome to meet more of y'all. I didn't do a lot of the events, just enjoyed doing whatever Cherri, Jaymi and I felt like doing. I didn't pay to do author readings or Q & A's, so that left me mostly be able to go to other people's stuff. We slept in late and missed most of the early morning breakfasts and stuff, but we were all in need of sleep. Karaoke was great, and if y'all check on some of the other authors' FB pages, like Devon Rhodes and Sara York, y'all will probably find clips of that. Strippers were entertaining of course, and the piano bar was a blast. TEB had an amazing Native American performance that was really cool. Claire, my editor, sang Summer Nights with Geoff Knight. I might have a clip of that if I can figure out how to get it from my phone to the laptop/blog. I do think I am going to sleep for 24 hours, but will have an installment up tomorrow evening. Sound like a plan? And thank you, all of y'all.
