*Whew* Blurb :D AND ***NSFW*** pics for Monday Blues Demolition

This is an all-over-the-place post!

Okay, we made it home late last night, and my head has been pounding since right about then. I've got to do edits on Reluctance, but tonight I'll announce the category for the next story. I haven't counted yet but I suspect it might be shifters :D

Meanwhile, the blurb I sent in for Riding and Regret, Jody's story-- and it's a rough blurb. There might be a change here and there, because this isn't written yet. Not fully. Not even halfly. Or quarterly. Would have been had we not gotten stranded in LA, but anyway.

Riding and Regret blurb:

Jody Bates had a hard life as a kid, but he’s moved past that and is making a home for himself at the Mossy Glenn. Sometimes he smarts off, but he’s young, and he’s learning.

What he hasn’t learned yet is that you can never completely escape your past.

Jody has a few blank spots, things he can’t quite remember. Like a lot of kids, he did some stupid stuff and figures he’s lucky to have come out relatively unscathed. Sure there’s a scar here and there, but on the whole, he’s doing just fine.

But something that happened brings about an enormous change in his life. Jody finds himself with a kid he didn’t know he’d fathered, and memories trying to surface about the drug-filled night the child had to have been conceived. Jody, at twenty, is overwhelmed and more scared than he’s ever been in his life.

Noel Cuthbert needed a change. He was tired of the bar scene, tired of getting dumped. He seemed to have a six-month expiration date per relationship. The last guy almost broke him in more ways than one, and moving across the country had sounded like a brilliant idea when he’d first thought of it.

Now he’s in Ashville, Montana, and his Aunt Gertie is doing everything she can to talk him into staying. She needs his help, and Noel needs to be needed.

And he’s never seen anyone who needs him more than the young man who walks into Gertie’s day care with a screaming toddler on his hip.

Okay, so there's the basics on the next Mossy Glenn. Poor Jody; he's one of those people who tries to joke and fit in but tends to come out being more awkward than not.

Eyes... smile... he just looks happy. I like happy!

Maybe I'm wrong but I picture him as a red-head, and I really like his features. He's going to be a character. 

Also, I've been following Warren for quite a while on FB and just found out he has a tumblr. This isn't a porn link, but I'd suggest y'all be sitting down when you check it out. Warren is intelligent and handsome, and I've been silently rooting for him because I'm such a lurker, lol! ST has seen a few of his pics and she has a major crush.

I have to get to editing. And maybe crying. Sometimes I look at my edits and wonder where exactly my brain melted down! It's all good though. I'm grateful to have people catch all the mistakes I made-- without them the stories wouldn't flow nearly as well and y'all might get inundated with a bazillion usages of the same word. >.< Repetitive-- I so is.
