Recipe and winners!

I've had a couple of requests for the banana pudding cake recipe, so  wanted to share that. Also, I forgot yesterday's drawing, and it was mentioned on here that the Riding and Regrets drawing...er, I forgot that too. Just too much going on and I can't keep track. So let's get this stuff handled!

The recipe:

Vanilla cake mix
2 small boxes banana pudding
2 or 3 fresh bananas, thinly slices, dipped in lemon juice diluted 1:1 with water
lemon juice
16oz cool whip
Box of vanilla wafers
strawberry syrup
chocolate syrup
anything else you want to add

Bake one vanilla cake mix in a 13 x 9 pan. I use coconut oil instead of vegetable oil, and I add slightly more than called for-- and  I mean slightly.

Once that cake has baked, let it cool for an hour or until completely cool. Then poke holes all over it, using something thickish. A wooden spoon handle, or those fat straws that come with the plastic lidded cups. I poke approximately 16 1'4 inch holes in the cake. Then mix up 2 boxes of banana pudding and pour on top of the cake.

I layered vanilla wafers on next because the spouse likes them softened by the pudding. If you don't, put the bananas down first. Then you just layer-- vanilla wafers, cool whip, bananas, wafers, cool whip. Crush the remaining wafers and sprinkle on top. Refrigerate the whole thing for a couple of hours.

Hi Bailey, I'm sorry to bother you and I really hope I'm not being too much of a pest but I was one of the winners of your draw for Riding & Regrets and while I have e-mailed you twice I have not received my book or any response from you to either e-mail and having been lucky enough to win a book from you previously I know this is out of the ordinary for you. So now I'm wondering if you received either of my emails. If you did then I apologize for bothering you yet again and will assume that I won't be receiving a copy of the book.

Karen H,

That is really bizarre. I haven't heard back from you, Pandora or Helen and now I'm wondering what's going on. Did you just use a Reply from one of our former emails or type in the addie? I haven't even gotten them in the Spam folder??
Whatever's wrong, I apologize for the screw up. I wouldn't announce winners then not give y'all your prize. If there's ever a problem again, hit me up here, FB, Twitter, or try my mail through the website baileybradford.com I'm going to repost all of that in a bit in case this is happen got anyone else.
