What I was working on...

Every year, I send in a list to Totallybound with a list and description of the books I'll write the following year for them. It has dates to sub by and pub by and all of that. So I'd already done that for this year (last year) when I was asked about participating in something special at TB that will result in two extra stories from me this year. The first will be a short story, and the second will be a much longer book linked to the short-- a continuation of those characters' stories. The short is about 15k and the book is over 63k, and both of them had to be written between February and last week, while also keeping up my previously scheduled writings, family issues, blog stories (okay I dropped the ball on that) and everything else.

Sometimes I push myself a little too hard. Everything's turned in that should be, and I'm now working on MG 6, featuring Frankie and Duke.

Hopefully I can give y'all some more info on the short and book. I'm excited about both.

Meanwhile, I better get back to MG 6, which has to be turned in by the 28th. I'll try to post an excerpt next week. Nag me if I forget!

Happy Thursday!
