Update on Stuff

Hey y'all :D

I know I was cryptic about Mom, but that's because we don't really know anything. If you don't want to risk TMI, stop reading here ****

Months back, she had a mammogram, and they told her there was a spot but it might be a lymph node-- come back in 6 months. Well, that's stressful, and we wondered why wait six months? Mom did what they said though, and she's got a lump higher up on her chest by her collarbone that is causing her pain.
Now, I think it's from her having scoliosis, it makes things crooked in some cases, and parts of your body frame protrudes more on one side in places (Mine is ribs and hip, one shoulder higher than the other) and she could have arthritis there. It isn't a soft or moveable lump. Still, she had to have x-rays and we're waiting on results, and she has to go back for another check on that suspected lymph node.
Logically, I think she's fine. Emotionally, I was thrown back to everything that happened with Dad, and I wasn't the only one. We've all just been a little shaky and stressed.
So if y'all could keep Mom and the rest of us in your thoughts, send us positive ones now and then, we'd appreciate it.
In fact, every comment y'all have left has helped. Thank you all for those. Y'all've no idea how very much y'all have done just by expressing a little kindness and concern.
Oh look. Now I'm going to get weepy. **huggz**

If you feel weepy, cry. I find crying to be cathartic.. I will keep your family in my thoughts.

The waiting and worrying is the hardest part. The mind and the heart doesn't always sync up. Y'all are in my thoughts. And make sure to tend to yourself too. So often in stressful times we forget to do that. *hugs*

So sorry to hear about your Mom, having people we love hurting and the stress of waiting is just the worst. Sending lots of positive thoughts your way!

Positive thoughts and blessings to you, Bailey, and to your mom. Scary stuff. I've had 'fluid-filled cysts' in my breasts for years now and just recently was told everything is fine. It's still not something you want to hear when they tell you you need follow-up mammograms. That stuff can be painful without you being in pain on top of it.
