Tuesday Babble

Well, what have y'all been up to? Someone share some adventure in the comments! :D

Amber, Elijah, and Charlie got back from Iowa today, so that's good. Mike's doing okay; the doctor put him on BP meds and a diuretic, but he has to have bunch of tests done to discover the extent of the CHF. Health care is an issue-- we're working on it. Everyone is eating healthier in the house.

Hubs' is working out the details for a job, so we'll see what happens there.

I did edits today on the revamped, extra content added book 1 in the Southern Spirits series, A Subtle Breeze. Margaret S pointed out that the books aren't listed with the number in the series, so new readers might not know which goes where. Heck, I don't even know that half the time. I'll be emailing Pride Pub about that, though, so maybe they can clarify it.

Other than that, I am still writing on the SW Shifter book. I know, I know, what's taking so long? Too much going on with home life, and I get jittery, can't sit still even to write. Yesterday I went through my dresser and folded everything neatly, tossed out stuff I don't wear, etc. Did laundry... That means desperate times, lol. However, I will get it together. Just had to wobble around for a while.

It's been in the 100's here for days; yesterday it was 103 in the shade, and that wasn't even the hottest part of the day. I am more than ready for cooler weather; y'all send some this way if you've got any!!

Tomorrow I will have an installment up by 10 PM Central, earlier if I can. One of the other things that has taken up a lot of my time is that Amber and Mike still don't have a rental car, or a car, period, and the wreck happened almost a month ago. Today, they finally got a call back from the adjuster (Amber wasn't at fault, an unlicensed teenage boy side swiped her)  and he said he'd get them a rental. Hopefully, that will happen tomorrow and that will free up some of my time.

Anyway! That's the updates on my side. Happy Tuesday, y'all <3

Hi Bailey, Just bought all your new and revised books *do a happy dance*. They are on special so I bought them all. Can't wait to read the additional chapters to "Southern Spirits". Here in South Africa we can't complain because our winters isn't that cold. What gets to me is the dark. I hate the dark. In the mornings I get to work at 05h30 and its dark. I get home at 18h00 and it's dark, but the bright side to that is by 19h00 I am in bed with my latest book. Hope you and your family will get a break soon and that DH will get work soon.

No fun adventures. Have been eating healthy, which is amazingly easier to do once you over come your natural urges to eat when anxious. Hope things settle down for your family soon.

Sounds too hot for me. Got crazy rainstorm weather due tomorrow exactly when I have a long unavoidable public transport commute. Joy. Sounds like maybe things are slowly coming around; keep positive and calm and enjoy what you have with your loved ones.

Sounds lovely...but I guess if you are living in the heat you definitely wilt.
Hope things do go better Bailey. I know I'm a day late, but hope the rest of Tuesday went fine.

Real life does come and bite ones arse once in awhile! Let's see. Since I started working dialysis I don't have a great deal of time to do stuff I want, I work 10 to 12 hour days sometimes more. Once I get home I am tired. I am trying to keep up with my writers but has been difficult sometimes. I am taking a National test next Friday so wish me luck! Tell your family hey from me and much love!

Thank you, Yoe! I hope you enjoy the little extra in each of them. And the edits...It amazes me how much stuff I miss. *sigh* Wow that's a lot of darkness!!! I had no idea about that; we've got the long summer days, light out until about 2100 and daylight by about 0600, maybe a little later. The heat...Ugh. So what is the latest book you've read?? Share :D Thank you, Hubs has something lined up, not as good as the former job was before they screwed him over, but still.

Yes, it is. I've been eating healthy with Mike, though today I cheated and had pasta, so the punishment is twice as long on the treadmill. I HATE the treadmill. How is your healthy eating going? And thank you!

Hey, I think that's good, because you sure like to have your own place and who can blame you?? I hope the move goes well <3 ***huggz***
