Monday Ramble

Well, definitely Monday. How was everyone's weekend? Ready for Halloween or Tuesday? Whatever is going on for y'all tomorrow?

We'll be going to the party here at the apartment complex where we live, then taking the kids out to one of the city celebrations. Haven't decided which yet. The installment will be up after we get back.

I may-- if I can-- start writing more on the blog story, see if I can get it finished by the end of the month. I don't know; there's some shit going on that I can't talk about for numerous reasons. I don't know what's going to happen-- but then again, does anyone? Ever? Truly?

I've touched on piracy before, but man. Piracy that has honestly had a big impact on authors' earnings. Here's a good article about that, and really, it just makes me ill, because I've seen tens of thousands of copies of my books pirated. Some people say, well they wouldn't have bought your book anyway-- Maggie Stiefvater argues, and proves, otherwise.

Y'all, I am tired and more stressed than usual. I haven't been able to sit down and focus to write anything more than the installments, so that's what I'm going to do-- have fun with those. Thank you for your support on this story. I touched on domestic abuse and didn't want to trigger anyone, but it's a subject that needs to be discussed more, and the consequences of domestic violence sure as hell need to be harsher.

Might delve into more issues, dig deeper, than I have in a while, in future writings.

Obviously, this is a ramble. I'm going to go cuddle with PNut and Miss Priss and read for a bit. Love to you all <3
