Morticia Knight Guest Blog! And ***NSFW*** Excerpt from her latest, Play Acting!

Morticia is here to share the final book in her Gin & Jazz series! I'm excited, and sad. It's a wonderful series, and I hope y'all enjoy it. Now, here's Morticia :D

Play Acting Book 7 Gin & Jazz

Thanks for having me here today Bailey and letting me share this final installment in the Gin & Jazz series. I have an exclusive excerpt to share with you as well. The books all take place during the Roaring Twenties and feature the exploits of several men who trudge their way through the pitfalls and decadence of Hollywood. This one can be read as a standalone as it tells the complete love story of two men from the series who haven’t been able to find their HEA yet. Poor guys…

Former screen idol, Roman Pasquale, struggles to survive in Hollywood as the silent film era comes to a close. But a fresh new playwright is in town and he wants Roman to be more than just his star.
The past few years haven’t been kind to fading film star, Roman Pasquale. But then again, he was never very kind to anyone else either. He’s had time to reminisce on his mistakes and to accept responsibility for how he hurt others. Now that Global Studios has turned its back on him, he’s had to sell his grand estate and start over in a modest apartment.
His former co-star, actress Maude Simons, suggests that he meet with new playwright, Max Vogel. Not only will he get the chance to be the star again, Roman can really use the money. What he doesn’t expect is how strongly he’s attracted to the easygoing, confident young man—and the very wicked thoughts he has about him.
Playwright and director, Max Vogel, is delighted that the great Roman Pasquale has agreed to star in his play. What he is unprepared for however, is the intense physical spark that ignites the moment they meet. He’s been warned of Roman’s reputation for being difficult to work with, but he’s willing to take the risk—even though his career depends on the success of this one play.
Max needs to coax a heartfelt performance out of Roman, and Roman needs to live up to his resolve to be a better man. But maybe the real issue is whether or not the director and actor can resist the passion they have for one another, a lust so strong that it catches them unaware. Is their lust really love? Or will the drive for success destroy any hope for a happily-ever-after?
Exclusive Excerpt from Play Acting (Gin & Jazz 7)

Roman reached between them to encircle Max’s thick cock, and Max groaned loudly, thrusting into Roman’s fist.
“Yes, Roman, yes.” He hissed before continuing. “You drove me mad in the car, I almost came right there.”
Roman continued to stroke Max’s leaking shaft with one hand, embracing Max with the other. He was enraptured watching his lover’s face. It seemed as though he could see every nuance of Max’s emotions play out—he was so open, so giving.
“Roman, I’m too close, stick your fingers in me, get me ready.”
Max latched onto his mouth again, throwing his arms around Roman’s neck as he did. A surprised Roman gathered the slickness coming from Max’s dick onto his index and middle finger. Using his other hand to pull aside one ass cheek, he rubbed Max’s wrinkled hole with the moistened digits. Max continued to kiss him hungrily, hanging onto him yet also pushing against Roman’s questing fingers. Max let go of his lips, panting breathlessly.
“Yes, Roman. Inside me, make me yours.”
Roman’s breath hitched. “Dear Max.”
Max made a strangled sound as Roman rammed both fingers into his entrance. He hesitated, waiting to make sure Max was all right. He clenched around Roman and moved, rutting against Roman’s thigh, his head thrown back as he moaned freely with obvious pleasure. Roman fucked him vigorously with both digits, greatly pleased at Max’s enthusiasm. Max brought his head back up then locked on Roman’s eyes. He smiled.
Fuck.
It wasn’t something that Roman was particularly proud of as he looked back on it, but he’d fucked many, many men. His list of lovers included the most powerful and beautiful to be had. Since being cast aside by his first love—and other than his months with Jack—he’d never denied himself the pleasure of a lovely man’s company whenever the whim took him. Due to his star status and wealth, he’d had his pick of the best.
But there was a raw energy to Max. It was something that spoke to Roman on a much deeper level than he’d typically experienced in the past. There had been the connection with Jack, except in that case, the balance had been off. Roman had overwhelmed Jack. It had taken him a long time to realize that and his current encounter with Max only reinforced his conclusion.
From the moment he’d met him, he’d sensed that Max was different. Max met him at the same level, didn’t back down, gave as good as he got. Their spark had been immediate and it had awoken a need from within Roman he thought had been destroyed. The need to love.
After removing his fingers from Max, he turned him around, then pulled him flush against his body—Max’s back to his front. He nibbled on Max’s neck and upper back, rubbing his needy erection in Max’s crease, using his pre-cum to moisten his pucker some more. Tugging leisurely on Max’s swollen shaft, then fondling his nuts, he also swept a hand along Max’s lightly muscled torso, pausing only to tease his nipples.
Max was a wonder. He was like a wanton, moving and arching into every heated caress or soft touch that Roman made. Little cries fell from his lips, sounds that made Roman’s balls ache, had them tightening too soon. Max raised his arms, reaching behind Roman’s head and holding him close as he tangled his fingers in Roman’s hair.
“God, Max, you’re incredible.”
He latched onto Max’s shoulder, sucking as hard as he could, making sure that Max knew he belonged to Roman. That he remembered the intensity of their encounter.
“More, Roman. Give me everything.”
Roman soothed the area he’d purpled with his tongue, then licked his way to a spot at the top of Max’s spine and brought more blood to the surface of Max’s skin. The entire time that Roman suckled and stroked him, Max never stopped moving or pushing into Roman’s touch, rubbing against his body.
“All for you Max, my sweet devil.”
Roman moved them both forward until they reached the back of the couch. He bent Max over by the back of his head, his lover pliant in his hands. Max’s abdomen was flush against the piece of furniture with his upper body hanging over the sofa. Roman plucked a throw pillow from the cushions to stuff under Max’s hips. He intended to thrust into Max’s ass forcefully, and didn’t want to leave Max bruised or hurt.
His need was high, but he paused for a few moments to rub his hands along Max’s spine, to appreciate his male beauty and his willingness to give himself to Roman. He grasped Max’s backside, kneading his enticing cheeks, spreading them wide to gaze on his inviting hole.
“For you, Roman.”
It had been years since he’d entered a man—he couldn’t allow himself to think of the last time—but he was ready to accept the gift he had in Max. There wasn’t anyone he would rather be with, and the truth of that realization hit him harder than anything else had in a long while.
“And for you, dear Max.”
